CANDACE KRUSE (vocalist) it was when she struck her first note at her first piano lesson that she realized her determination to be part of the professional music industry. She earned her Bachelors of Music Degree in Recording Engineering and Music Business with an emphasis in Opera Vocal Training and Piano from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. In 2013, after culminating a 10-year performance run on the Las Vegas strip (and throughout Nevada), she received a Masters of Arts Degree in Teaching from Sierra Nevada College, Las Vegas. She initiated the Songsalive!-Las Vegas Chapter, and for 5 years hosted and organized monthly songwriter collaborations.  Songsalive! offers training, opinions, and opportunities by professional music industrialists.

Candace is known for her rich vocals in every style.  A lifetime of singing, and nearly that playing keys, her gift provided many opportunities in R&B in the heart of Michigan. After performing for almost ten years with various five to six-piece bands in Michigan, she became inspired to perform in Las Vegas. The southwest has allowed her to blossom in theater, film, voice-overs, and strengthen her music credits. Candace topped the Indie Charts Top Ten with her song “We Don’t Quit.” In fact, you can see her on the cover of more than one Indie Bible. She is co-writer of “We Need More Green” featured on the Art of Men CD.  Her vocal performance was selected for the final cut and this recording became the theme song for a youth summer camp. Candace was lead vocalist and keyboardist in the high energy group Super Shock. Nearly ten years of being hailed as the best duo in Las Vegas pays tribute to her first two years (5 to 6 days a week, 6 hours a night) as lead vocalist and keyboardist in the Westward Ho Casino house band.  When the Ho was bought and demolished by Boyd, the Riviera Hotel and Casino gave her an afternoon show leading to an evening show and yet another NYE performance.  Years of lounge scenes in so many different casinos and hotels all across Nevada, and extensively on the Las Vegas Strip, blends together a unique experience allowing Candace to share intimate details without giving anything away.  This is reflected in her sincerity, integrity, and commitment as she continues to give to the people in the music industry.

She continues to perform in many venues and private settings, including Las Vegas, as a solo artist and will be a featured guest vocalist at the 50th Anniversary Miss St. Francis Pageant 2014.  Teaching professionally in the Clark County School District provides inspiration and the chance to bring music into the classroom.  Candace still finds time in her busy schedule to continue to write, compose music, and record.
