Dave Loeb, jazz pianist, performed with renowned jazz artists, such as Joe Williams, Tom Harrell, Nancy Wilson and many more.  As well, he played on the soundtracks for many television shows recorded in prominent Los Angeles studios and feature films including “Ted,” “The Birdcage” and “Pocahontas.”

Dave orchestrated for George Benson, Doc Severinsen and numerous others, arranged music for several orchestras, including The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and television shows, including The Academy Awards and American Music Awards. He composed music for notable PBS television documentaries and Dolly Parton.

In Las Vegas, Dave was musical director and conductor for several theatrical productions including the GRP Jazz Roots Series: The American Songbook, with Ann Hampton Callaway, at the Smith Center.  Dave is Director of Jazz Studies and professor of music at UNLV. He received the prestigious Nevada System of Higher Education Regent’s Creative Activity Award.
