ROB MADER, saxophonist, is a freelance woodwind player in Las Vegas. Rob has a Bachelor’s Degree in music performance from UNLV and is a former student of Bill Green, Felix Viscuglia, and Don Menza. He is a featured member in Santa Fe and the Fat City Horns, The Las Vegas Jazz Connection, Latin Breeze and can be seen performing in the Donny and Marie show. He has worked consistently in Las Vegas for over 25 years.

Rob has performed and recorded for many top artists, including Bette Midler, Bill Champlin, Gladys Knight, Don Rickles, The Temptations, Frankie Avalon, Ben Vereen, The Four Tops, KC and The Sunshine Band, and many more. Rob has performed in many professional musical theatre productions including: Phantom of the Opera, The Producers, Spamalot, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Peter Pan, Man of La Mancha, Annie, and The Music Man.

In addition to playing music at night, Rob is the Director of Technology for the College of Fine Arts at UNLV where he manages Information Technology and brings new technologies to assist faculty and staff in education. He has provided consulting for the Adelson Education Campus and at the Silver Sands Montessori Charter School where he currently serves as vice president on the board of trustees. Rob is married with two of the smartest and most talented kids in the world.
