STEVE GOLDEN, saxophone, is a native Bostonian who graduated from the Berklee College of Music with his degree in music composition.  Steve is proficient on all saxophones, flutes, and clarinets, and plays the “EWI” (electronic/midi woodwind instrument).  He reads and writes musical scores for all styles of music.

Steve went on to perform with the Glen Miller Orchestra led by Buddy Defranco. He has since played with the Jimmy Dorsey Band, the Tommy Dorsey Band, Buddy Rich, Woody Herman, Si Zentner, the Aladdin House Orchestra, the Riviera House Orchestra, Caesars House Band, the Sands Hotel House Band and Harrah’s in Atlantic City and was the band leader at the Sands Hotel from 1994-1996. Steve was on The Boss tour with Diana Ross and appeared on the HBO special “The Boss,” as well as the album. He has appeared with Shirley McClain, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Anthony Newley, Burt Bacharach, Tom Jones, The Gatlin Bros., Englebert, Sammy Davis Jr., and Wayne Newton, just to name a few.

With over forty years of music experience playing with major recording artists, Steve plays soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones, flutes, and clarinet single with tracks.  He is in high demand for any personal event of importance.
