COCHO ARBE, pianist and conductor, started playing the drums at 13 years old and switched to piano at 17 and has never looked back.  He came from Lima, Peru to the United States in 1986 on a scholarship to attend The Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Cocho has performed with a host of legendary performers like Wayne Newton, Vikki Carr, Sheena Easton, Paquito D’Rivera and many more.  Some of his many studio credits feature recording artist greats like Carlos Santana, a featured guest on the album “Los Hijos del Sol.”  Cocho was also nominated for a Grammy with Alex Acuna and the Unknowns and has appeared on the David Letterman show as a guest conductor for Late Night band. He also is a talented arranger and composer writing for several Las Vegas shows.

Cocho played for many years with his own Cocho Arbe Latin Jazz Quintet, and continues to perform with several different singers.  He is part of the jazz trio “Ambiance.”
