LANNIE COUNTS, vocalist, was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona.  He has been singing and performing since he was 12.  He moved to Las Vegas 20 years ago and has been on the Las Vegas music scene ever since.

In addition to performing in different venues in Phoenix and Las Vegas, Lannie was the lead singer for the Joey Navarro Project when they opened for such acts as Keith Sweat, Najee and Kenny G.  He was background vocalist for the Tony Tillman Show “Sound Investment,” a tribute to Little Anthony and The Imperials (as voice of Little Anthony).  In 2007, he performed as a principle in “Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing,” a Motown 50th anniversary tribute show in Bally’s Showroom Atlantic City.  In 2009, Lannie won first place in Harrah’s Talent Contest.

Lannie has many recordings that can be found on iTunes, such as his recently released self-produced single “Fooled Around and Fell In Love,” or his first self-produced album “A Night in the Day of The Cat.”  He also has a new single out – “I’ll Always Know Love” written and produced by Emmy Award winner Jerome Gillmer. Lannie’s most recent release in iTunes is “It’s Christmas (so wonderful).” Currently, Lannie performs with Santa Fe and The Fat City Horns, and performs with his four-piece band regularly at The Sterling Club with Kelly Clinton.
