Vocalist Jerry Tiffe, calls himself Jerry T on his two hour set on a Thursday afternoon in Boulder Station’s Railhead showroom in Las Vegas. He spells out his name T-I-F-F-E so people will make sure to remember his name as he tells them it rhymes with spiffy. Jerry started out as a one-shot engagement at the Texas Station eight years ago and turned it into three crowd-pleasing weekly events as a regular part of the Station’s entertainment lineup at Boulder Station, Santa Fe Station and Arizona Charlie’s West. Jerry is also back at the Tropicana in the Celebration Lounge and on Sunday, he and his company offer Sunday Swing at the Texas Station.

The first time I saw Jerry perform was at the Tropicana,” one lady related, “and I have been a fan ever since.” The Atrium Lounge at the island-themed resort was Jerry’s home-away-from-home for 12 years. The Cleveland, Ohio-native has spent more than two decades singing for his supper in rooms up and down the Las Vegas Strip. Along with his run at the Trop, there was a five year stint at the Sands (now The Venetian) and regular bookings at Bally’s, MGM Grand, New York-New York and the Desert Inn (Steve Wynn’s Le Reve).

Jerry is considered to be one of the last classic Vegas singers around. He truly is a class act with his powerful voice, friendliness and ability to make people feel his music. Wherever he sings, you will see many of his audience mouthing the words with him enjoying his every note. His music feeds the soul.
