Windy Karigianes is an eclectic, pop/jazz singer who takes many different songs from all eras, even today’s hits and spices them up with her unique, powerful yet tranquil voice. She is best-known for combining vintage sounds with new and contemporary ambient rhythms, resulting in her very own creative and authentic interpretation of well-known standards and original compositions.

At the age of sixteen, Windy began performing on the Las Vegas Strip with various local bands. This experience would later make her the recipient of a variety of awards in state music competitions and local talent shows. Windy studied with her mentor and vocal instructor, Norris Davis, where she also learned the art of recording and writing music.

Windy has a natural purity in her voice that very few Singers have. Her timing is impeccable when she’s phrasing or scatting. She brings an ethereal, almost haunting-innocence to the audience and in the studio. She has this warmth in her sound, her briskly rhythmic style and evocative interpretations bode well on stage. Her upcoming release contains “Home” and “Sad Songs” co-written by Randy Hall and Brandon Fields.
