Rick Arroyo does it all: Pianist, Drummer, Vibraphonist, Latin Percussionist, Arranger, and Composer. He began playing piano at age 9, drums at age 11 and Latin percussion at age 13. He played professionally with Johnny Polanco at age 15 and formed his own group at age 21. He has performed as a band leader and a sideman since 1986 performing on TV and radio nationally and internationally.

Rick has performed with many artists including: Poncho Sanchez, Johnny Polanco, Esteban, Jimmy Castor, Steve Rossi, Luis Conte, Karen Briggs, Artie Webb, Johnny (Dandy) Rodriguez, Bobby Matos, Tom Dane, Larry White, Hector Casanova, Francisco Aguabella, Luis Miranda and many others using all of his talents. Rick has performed for President Barack Obama, Oscar Goodman, Harry Reid, Maurie Povich, Jenny Jones, Robin Leach, Monti Rock and many other celebrities.

Rick was the winner of the 2008 Las Vegas Latin Music awards in two categories for best Latin Jazz Band and Best Latin Jazz Performer. He was featured on Las Vegas PBS with Guest Host, Donny Osmond. He is currently performing in Las Vegas at various locations and also give private lessons for piano, drums and percussion.
