Who doesn’t love a fashion show? March 19th was a day filled with a sense of springtime as fabulous hats created by Louisa Voisine Millinery were being modeled on the runway of the Hat’itude Fashion Show. It was one of those special times when it felt so great to be a lady among other women enjoying art, champagne and beautiful music. Poet Quin Rivers made you feel even more inspired to wear a hat by reading her poem, Hat’itude. Applause erupted when Quin began reading her next poem, Little Black Dress as the models began walking the catwalk with the one-of-a-kind designs by Louisa.

At the beginning of the afternoon, the room reverberated with delicious musical notes. Cocho Arbe, a well-known talented pianist, played Latin Jazz music to welcome the guests and later accompanied Marchand Melcher, the songstress for the event, as she sang beautiful songs in French that she is famous for. The incomparable Ricardo Greigo provided the music for Louisa’s outstanding fashion show as each model wore even more stunning outfits each time they walked the runway.

The beautiful Beti Kristof provided a stunning art show with her unique, exceptional paintings for all to see. You then entered the main room where wine & champagne were served and tasty desserts were enjoyed by all. Around the room there were items on displayed for auction with proceeds going toward the scholarships to be given out in May at the Forgotten Song Foundation’s main event, the 2nd Annual VIVA Awards. All of this took place at the breathtaking David Tupaz Couture Studio where he displayed his award winning designs. Thank you, David, for providing a magical place to be enjoyed by all.
