Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, Adrianna Thurber (a.k.a. “Miss Fearless”) has spent her life playing the violin. She studied classically at school, while also learning the art of Jazz Harmonic Theory and Improvisation from her father, Michael Thurber, a jazz guitarist.
Immediately after graduating in 2006 from the Las Vegas Academy of Performing and Visual Arts, she joined the Las Vegas Philharmonic. Since then, she has toured all over the U.S. from Hollywood to New York, Chicago to Dallas, and into Mexico with an electric rock string quartet, where she has mastered electric five string violin. Adrianna has opened for Sheryl Crow, Whoopie Goldberg, Diana Ross at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium Grand Opening, and Foreigner in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. She has performed with many impressive artists including Shakira, Stevie Wonder, Miley Cyrus, Ronnie Dunn, Earth Wind and Fire, Alejandra Guzman, Franco De Vita, Toni Braxton, Camila, and many more! Adrianna has been seen on National Television performing for the Latin Grammies and for the Academy for Country Music Awards. In Hollywood, Adrianna has performed for the HBO Emmys, and for the Creative Arts Emmys.
Although she has practiced and performed many genres of music, Adrianna regards Jazz and specifically Gypsy Jazz as some of the highest forms of musical freedom. “Joining Hot Club of Las Vegas is such a fantastic opportunity for me to really stretch out creatively and also to work with a group of exceptionally talented musicians!”
